Me and Adam have officially been dating for almost 5 months now! That's crazy to think about. If you add up the other couple of times we dated, then we have been dating for like 8 months at least. (not including the time we spent apart) I feel so lucky to have him in my life! It's crazy how things pan out. Recently, Adam has started his new job at Vanguard. And so he has been pretty busy getting settled in and taking a few tests as well. BUT, after friday, we'll get a break from testing for a while AND different working hours! So that'll be nice change.
Some things that have happened recently that have been crazy.. Well, one of my best friends Candice Rowley is engaged! I'm so happy and excited for them. Another one of my best friends Josie Gleave is married now! Yeah, married. I've been best friends with this girl since KINDERGARDEN! Oh my lanta.. my life. I can clearly remember the days in elementary school swinging on the swings with this girl.. annoying her with "the song that never ends." I was such a nice friend. Haha no, but really.. those were some good days and I'm gonna miss this girl like HECK since she's moving to AUSTRALIA! Yeah, craziness. I love her love story though. It's so perfect and I'm so happy for her and Jeremy. You can tell by seeing them together and seeing them interact that they are meant to be together. I love witnessing that. To summarize from what I know.. I'll do my best to tell their story. Josie was 14 years old when she met Jeremy. He was 17. (it's crazy to think she was that young, but Josie has always been very mature for her age so it all made sense) He came to visit Arizona to see someone in her ward at church that he knew.. and then saw Josie and knew he had to talk to her! So he did. He didn't officially take her on a date that time, but later he did. Not sure exactly when. They stayed in touch through Facebook and things like that. She wrote him while he served his mission in Italy. After he returned, they dated more seriously and were engaged. A year later, they tied the knot. It all makes sense that this relationship worked out for her though. Josie has always been a writer. And I think that would have to be the type of person to last in a relationship across the world. It's also ironic that she was the first of my group of elementary school friends to be engaged since she never had ANY interest in dating. I remember in late elementary school, me and Lexie were already boy crazy and Josie just kind of brushed off every guy that looked at her. Haha she always has had her head on straight in every espect of her life it seems like. I look up to her a lot. If you want to see a more detailed and accurate version of her story.. you can visit her blog at http://joscelyngleave.blogspot.com/ . You can tell by reading her blog that she is an author.
What else is new.. on a less happy note, my sister-in-law Chandra was diagnosed with breast cancer. It's been a pretty scary experience so far.. not knowing exactly what is going to happen and not knowing how bad things are. To know all the details of her case, you can visit her blog at http://www.pooksforever.blogspot.com/ . She has been so strong through it all and I admire her strengh and faith throughout everything. I know that God has a plan for her and everything that is happening. I just know she was given this trial because she can get through it. God won't give you anything you can't handle. I'm a strong believer in that. Her family and friends actually put together a fundraiser to raise money for medical bills and things like that. It was very successful. I think I can speak for everyone when I say that we did not expect the number of people that came. I'm so happy everything is working out. My family along with hers are very blessed.
Other than that, I don't know that a whole lot of big changes have happened. I have so much to be thankful for. The past week has made me realise that moreso than normal. I don't know if it's just because I'm a girl and I can be emotional, or what. But, I'm glad I can get a reminder of how much I have to be thankful for. I'm so excited for my future and what is in store for me. I feel so at peace about... I think everything in my life. It's crazy. I haven't been this happy in a long time. Maybe ever? Some future things that are going to be coming up are.. I need to get my other two wisdom teeth out. Which I am scared to death about! I think I might pass out with nervousness when I go in for that procedure since the last experience was so great. Along with that, I want to sell my car and buy a new one as soon as I have everything all sorted out and settled down with my car. I need to get the computer reset in the car so all the lights in my dash will go off. After that, I'll be ready to sell and find a better car! We will see when that happens! I want to try and get a car and KEEP it for more than like 6 months. It seems like I can never do that. But I WILL. Until next time...
