So, wedding plans are coming along pretty nice and quick! We've had a lot of help from my family. Mainly my sister Rachel! She's basically my secretary. That's what you get MAID OF HONOR! ;) Yeah, so we had the temple and the reception booked before we were officially engaged. We don't waste any time. Ha, well.. yeah.. we haven't been wasting time planning! We'll leave it at that. We got our bridesmaid outfits figured out and my dress is currently getting alterations. I'm broke now, but its fine. I wanna look good! We have our invitations made and are waiting to have a complete list to send them out to. All we have left to do is find the groomsmen ties, my shoes, and Adam has to have his tux figured out! Plus other little things here and there. We have less than 7 weeks until we are married! It's comin fast! We have most of the planning out of the way already and we still have over 1 month left! We're still deciding where we want to go for our honeymoon. At first we were thinking of going on a cruise since neither of us had been before. Now we're thinking of a nice hotel in vegas. So we'll see! Pretty exciting:)
What else is new? Well, me and Adam went to the scottsdale polo match at westworld this past weekend! That was something different! Neither of us had been to a polo match. It was on my bucket list and then I kept hearing about it on the radio and so we decided to go! We decided that we would both dress in polo shirts too! I didn't have one.. so I went the Epic thrift store by my house and found a cheap one. It was pretty ugly, not going to lie. But I dont know if I would ever wear a polo unless it were for something like that. So maybe if I go golfing or something, I'll use it again. Anyway, so Adam works in Scottsdale so I met him out there. While i was waiting for him to get off work, I got us some Jamba Juice and then we went to the match! It was interesting to see all the people in dresses and stuff. It was held at the same place that I go to the Arabian Horse Show every year too. There was a car show there as well as you can see. I felt like it was one of those things that I'm happy we went and experienced, but unless you're betting on winners, drinking, or rich.. I don't see the point of going to them all the time. BUT I got to check that off my bucket list, so that's happy!
The past general conference announced the new ages of serving a mission age! 18 for guys, 19 for girls! So, there are a lot of girls that are seriously talking about going on a mission now! One of them being one of my best friends, Karlie! She's always wanted to serve a mission and so now she's workin on getting ready to go! It's pretty weird.. I'm getting married.. and she's going on a mission sometime after that. Guys we use to hang out with in high school are starting to get home from missions.. it'll be interesting to see how things pan out for people we know! Then, with the election.. I won't even go into it.. but yeah. That'll be interesting either way! Life's changing!
I CAN'T WAIT TO BE MARRIED! Oh, love.
