So, I actually have two jobs now! I started at Skipro on September 21st. So far, it's going well. It's kind of slow right now though cuz it's not snow season yet, but it's kind of a good thing for me! This way, I can learn and get use to everything before it gets crazy! Something that's great about Skipro is that there prettymuch isn't a dresscode. You're not suppose to wear jeans, but prettymuch everything else is ok. So, that's always nice! Not a whole lot is new with me besides that. I've just been working a lot and then relaxing whenever I'm not working. It kind of sucks because I haven't gotten to go out and meet any new people lately, but hopefully that'll change. This weekend is Courtney's birthday party.. so that should be pretty fun! And hopefully I'll get to meet some new people there!

There are a couple new things that have happened recently. One, being that I got my first debit card and a bank account! Second, being that I now have to pay for my own gas, insurance, and phone bill! So, that's a bummer.. but I guess this is growing up. Other than that, that's about all that's new with me. I figured I hadn't posted a new blog for a bit, so I figured I should catch you all up!

Things have definately already changed since graduation. I feel like I have grown up so much and learned so much. I've spent a lot of time at home this summer and recently, so I've been able to sit and think a lot. It's crazy how differently I look at things now than I did like a year or so ago. It's crazy that now that I'm graduated.. prettymuch the next step in my life is finding my husband! THAT is so crazy! It's the closest it's ever been, but yet it seems the furthest away right now. Things change so fast though. Only time will tell.

Alrighty, So I actually got a job! I'm now working at Matta's mexican grill! Today was my first day. It went well! I think I caught onto things pretty quickly! My sister use to work there so it made it a bit easier for me to get the job! I actually got a call from Ski pro yesterday as well. They wanted to interview me today but I had work today. I told them that I had just gotten a job and that today was going to be my first day so I didn't know my schedule yet. But they said to give them a call back when I know so that way maybe I can work part time with them too. So, I might do that! The only thing about that is I've never actually been skiing or snowboarding. Ha, so I don't know how well I'd be suited for the job. But I probably will give them a call back whenever I know my schedule. I'm still looking for a car as well. I've been using my dads truck until we get it all figured out.

Today's my nephew Wyatt's 2nd birthday! This weekend my sister planned a birthday party for him with family. That should be fun! Other than that, life's prettymuch the same. Things are going well!

Alrighty, so this weekend was pretty fun as well! Although, I have NO IDEA where time has been going. Pretty much all I do during the week is just chill at my house and go ride whenever I can. It's like a lazy day every day during the week for me since I don't have a job or anywhere to be. Anyways, so on friday, I stayed at Candices house while my parent were in Pinetop. We just chilled most of the night but we did go ride on her families golf cart and just messed with people. It was funny. Then, later, Karlie came and spent the night with us too. It was a fun night. We had lots of interesting conversations at 3 in the morning.. but then again, we usually do.

Then, on tonight, I hung out with Candice, Karlie, Luke, and Erik. We just made a fruit pizza and played spoons. Candice and Luke were the ones who lost, so they had to do a dare. SO, we made them dress up and go mess with people places. Luke ended up wearing this leotard with frilly stuff on it and sparkley stuff with a skirt and this old fashioned hat. PLUS, we put mascara on him. It was great. Then candice wore like three tu tus with an old fashioned hat too. It was pretty funny. I tried to record them messing with people but my camera screen is broken and so when I was trying to point to them.. I failed miserably. This picture is the best one I got, but you get the idea! Anyways, it was a pretty fun weekend!

Alrighty, So basically this weekend was JUST what I needed! :) I guess you could say life has been pretty stressful lately.. but this weekend made up for it FOR SURE. Friday night we went to Matts mission call opening and then went back to Karlies house and just hung out. (Me, Kar, Candice, Sejal, Arianne, Kristen, Morgan, Gunner, and Gavin) We ended up going and catching a couple of scorpions out of Karlies backyard and ended up killing them. Not only killing.. but cooking.. and a couple people ate them. (NOT me!) Haha Gunner and Sejal ended up eating a scorpion. Which was kinda funny because Sejal is actually a vegetarian, so that was kind of funny that she volunteered. But anyway, it was pretty gross and funny to watch. We actually boiled the scorpions alive.. then cut off their tails and claws and then seasoned them up in a frying pan. It was probably one of the nastiest things we have ever come up with doing but it was definately something unique.. so it was good to spice things up a bit!

Then, today was a good unique day too! It started out with my sister having her second baby! She named him Keaton Reve Harker. He was born 21 inches long.. 7lbs 8oz. Something that sucks is that for some reason, I always end up sick whenever a niece or nephew is born so I'm never able to hold them for a while. :( So that was a bummer, but it was good to see him! He's definately a cutie!


After being at the hospital for ten hours with my family, I went with Kar, Sejal, Chas, and Arianne to Fresco to get some bingsoo! It's this crazy dessert stuff that has shaved ice, frozen yogurt, fruit, and some fruity sauce stuff on top of it. It's amazing! If you haven't tryed it, you NEED to. To make the night even better, we went outside and it was POURING! So, of course we had to play in the rain for a while! So we did and then we went back to Summers house and played in the rain there too! (ya, it probably wasn't smart considering that I'm already sick.. but it was SO worth it!) It was just a good weekend! I definately needed it! It was a good way to end the week, that's for sure. This week has been CRAZY! I'm excited to see what next week has in store for me because I have a job interview with Costa Vida! I'll keep posted on that!

Alright, so whats been going on with me? I still don't have a job.. still looking. I went on a lake trip with some of my friends this last weekend though for Summers birthday! That was really fun! It was a good relaxing day in the sun.. but definately wore me out. I don't think I've gone to bed any earlier than 11 since school got out until Saturday night. It was way worth it though. I went to the lake with Wes, Andrew, Morgan, Gunner, Gavin, Karlie, Summer, Courtney, Carlie, Monica, and Aubrey. Wes brought his boat and we went to Canyon lake and went tubing and stuff. But for me, it was more of just a relaxing day with friends. I did tube a little bit and swam a bit but I was content with just chilling in the sun. It was good to get away from town and do something fun! Plus it gave me a lot of time to sit and think about things. It was good because i didnt realize how much I needed that time to sit and think. Um.. what else is new? Meeting new people is always fun and interesting. This last week has just been kinda eventful I guess, but I wont go into detail. My sister is going to have her baby REALLY soon. She is suppose to get induced on saturday but she's been having some contractions so it may be sooner than Saturday! I'm excited! I'm looking for a new car to buy. I'm probably going to sell my truck.. so if anyone's interested in a 1998 (or 1999-unsure..I need to talk to my dad) Chevy Silverado then let met know! I need to find a car that is good on gas and that's in good shape..not too old but definately doesn't have to be new. So, yep that's me within the last little bit without going too far into detail!

So, what's new with me? Nothing really. Sejal FINALLY came home not too long ago! Which was GREAT because I missed her oh so very much while she was gone for like two months!

I'm still looking for a job. I actually interviewed with this place Vector Marketing (linked to CutCo).. and I got the job. BUT I'm probably going to decline the offer because the job wasn't what I thought it was. I thought I was going to be sitting down answering phones and things like that but it turns out that I'd be meeting with people and selling kitchen knives. Ha, YA.. not exactly what I want to do. I had that interview on Friday and it was seriously the LONGEST interview OF MY LIFE. I was expecting to go in and maybe be there for a half hour. About 3 hours later, it ended. Ha, so ya.. AND to make matters worse is I didn't drive myself and so my parents were in the parking lot waiting for me the whole time. That's the first job I've gotten hired for.. but I'm not taking it. Which is a bummer, but I'm just going to keep looking.

Today, I went with some friends to the temple and we watched the joseph smith movie. It made me realize some things that I know I already knew but I hadn't really thought about it much. As I was watching the movie, it made me realize that God had a plan for Joseph Smith to restore the gospel from the beginning. It was part of his plan for Joseph and he was being prepared for it his whole childhood.. something THAT big. It's just made me wonder God's plan is for me. It could be anything for anyone. You just never know what you're being prepared for. I just thought it was kind of interesting because I had never thought about it like that before. Also another thing that is amazing is I LOVE how great of friends I have that we all just go to the temple together and we can have spiritual conversations and it is not even weird. In fact, we have spiritual conversations all the time. It's great to have friends who can strengthen your testimony. They're the best and such a blessing for me to have. I'm so incredibly lucky! And it's so sad to have a lot of the guys we hang out with go out on missions. It's so great that they're going, don't get me wrong! But it's just sad because I'll miss them SO very much.

HA, by the way, have fun going back to school.. all of you who are still in school. I love the feeling that I don't have to go back. It's great. :)

To catch you all up..

Since I haven't been updating my blog for my whole life, i should probably fill people in on some things. I'm a girl who believes in many things. I've been through lots of crap from people.. and I'm actually thankful for it. It's made me who I am today. I wouldn't take any of it back. I've been used, lied to, pushed around, and so much more. Although, I'm so much stronger from all of it. It was hard at times (and will continue to be..) but I know that I made it to be who I am today because of good friends and mainly because of my savior Jesus Christ. Good friends have helped me to open my eyes and appreciate what I have, to be the person that I am today. I know everything happened for a reason even though I may never know why until a long time from now. Sometimes answers as to why things happen.. don't actually matter. To me, life isn't about knowing answers. It is about having beliefs and living by the things you believe in. Also, I've learned that being happy through anything and everything that happens is the key to having the life I want. I believe that every moment is precious and shouldn't be wasted being unhappy. I adore my friends so much for all they have done for me. Especially my friend Karlie Alyse Harrison. We have been best friends our whole lives and she helped me through some of the hardest times of my life and I honestly don't know if I would have made it without her. She's one of the most amazing girls I've ever known. She has stuck around and stayed my friend through times when I probably didn't deserve it. I hope I can be as amazing as her one day.
Looking back, I've realized that it isn't worth it to have an attitude toward something you don't agree with. Usually, people have their opinions and no matter what you say to them, it will always be the same. Nothing you say will change how they feel. The only thing that happens is you get worked up about something because you wish you could have that other person see what you see from your view and understand you. It's okay for people to not understand you. All that matters is what you think and if you have a belief toward something. If you let people tell you what to think all the time, you may never have a steady opinion about anything. It's good to have an open mind toward things, but sometimes only you will know if something is true to you or not.. whether it be a friendship.. religion.. or whatever. Having a belief in something means you stand for something and that you know what you want in life. Sometimes you don't know what you want until you have tried everything else. But as long as you learn from mistakes, that's all that matters.
